| (1) We believe in the
divinity of the Holy Trinity. That God is The Father, The Word, and The
Holy Spirit. These three are God. They are separate entities, under one
will, that of The Father. ( Mat 3:16-17) John 14:16-17, Genesis 19:24)
(2) We believe that the Lord Jesus is The Christ and the
only Savior of mankind.
(Acts 4:12 John 3:16,
(3) We Believe that we are saved by our faith and not
by works. We believe that faith is a matter of both belief and works. We
believe that works have their place after salvation but that the only thing
a sinner can do to gain salvation is confessing with the mouth and believing
with the heart. (Eph 2:8-9, Rom 10:9-11, James 2:20-26)
(4) We believe that once saved, we are not restored but
redeemed. We believe that redemption makes us an new creature in the spirit.
We believe that God gives us a new spirit when we are saved and that He
will give us a new body at resurrection. We believe that we must renew
our minds to be able to fully appreciate our new spirit and body. (Rev
5:9, 2Cor 5:17, 1Cor 6:20, Rom 8:23, Rom 12:2)
(5) We believe that the most sacred day in the life of
a born again saint is that of "The Resurrection Day". We believe that the
crucifixion accomplished the cleansing of man and that the blood of the
resurrected Savior accomplished the redemption into a new creature. We
believe that the celebration of Easter or any other holiday that detracts
from the significance of the resurrection is inspired by Satan, the prince
of errors and darkness. (Rom 4:25, Col 2:14, Rom 5:10, 2Cor 5:14-19, Heb
9:12-15)
(6) We believe that the scriptures are the guideline that
we follow in the conduct of our lives. We believe that God, and the scriptures
takes precedence over any denomination, man, race, nationality, or theological
trend of thought. (Col 2:8,1Cor 2;13, Phil 3: 2&3)
(7) We believe that the Lord Jesus was bodily resurrected
and will bodily return as stated in scripture. (John 20:17, Luke 24:39)
(8) We believe that in our redemption to the new creature,
we are now greater than angels and that we are counted as sons of God and
coheirs with Christ. We believe that we will judge the world and angels
in time to come. (1Cor 6:2-3)
(9) We believe that man is a three fold creature consisting
of a spirit, soul, and body. We believe that death occurs when the body
is separated from the soul and spirit. We believe that death is not a cessation
of life, but the separation from God. We believe that the soul does not
sleep but that it is alive at all time and cognizant of the events surrounding
it. (Gen 2:7, 1Thess 5:23, Luke 16:19-31, Rev 6: 9-11) |
10) We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ
is the mediator of the new and eternal covenant known as the new testament.
We believe that His death sealed that new testament and that there can be no
other testament to the saving of any man. We believe that every man has had
the opportunity to receive the gospel.
(Heb 9:15-16, , Rom 10:15-19, Heb 12:22-26, Heb 13:20)
(11) We believe that your judgment is sealed upon your
death and that there can be no petitioning, praying, or sacrifices that
will deliver anyone from hell.
(Heb 9:27, 2 Cor 5:10, Rom 14:10-12)
(12) We believe that denominations are a sign of spiritual
immaturity. We do not believe that those who practice denominationalism
are necessarily lost, only immature.
( 1Cor 1:10-13)
(13) We believe that there is no such thing as a fire
baptism for the born again believer. We believe that fire baptism is reserved
for the unsaved. We believe that Pentecost marks the ordination of the
church and that the disciples present were already saved and exercising
the power of The Holy Ghost . (Luke 10:17-20, Acts 2:1-3, Jer 20:1-9, Luke
3:16-17)
(14) We believe that God is experienced through the spirit
and that soulish or emotional demonstration do not necessarily indicate
a spiritual experience. (John 4;24, Rom 8:14, Heb 4:12,
(15) We believe that the church is both the body and the
bride of Christ and that the two (body and bride) are one and the same
thing. (Eph 5:25-32, Gen 2:21-24, Rev 21:2, Rev 19:7-8)
(16) We believe that the church is the worshippers and
not the building or the denomination. (1Cor 6:19)
(17) We believe that we are a new creature and that this
new creature exists within a still natural body until the resurrection
in which we will receive the new body. (1Cor 13:12, 2Cor 4:7,
(18) We believe that the unforgivable sin is that which
we justify. That when we refuse to confess, we refuse to accept forgiveness.
(1 John 1:5-10)
(19) We believe that once you are saved you can never
be lost again. That salvation consists of a transformation into a new creature
and that this transformation is given by God and cannot be revoked. We
believe that there is a punishment for those who disobey or abandon the
work of God, but that this punishment does not mean that they are lost
again. (Rom 8:38-39, Mat 8:12,Gal 6:7) |
